Choosing the perfect wedding venue is one of the most important decisions you'll make when planning your special day. Your venue will set the tone for the entire event and will be the backdrop for all of your cherished memories. Here are some key factors to consider when choosing a wedding venue:
Location: The location of your wedding venue is one of the most important things to

consider. You'll want to find a venue that is easily accessible for your guests and that is within your budget. Consider the distance from your ceremony site and accommodations, and whether or not transportation will be necessary. White Stone Events is located just 7 minutes from Route 88 making it an easy drive for your guests.
Capacity: The size of your wedding venue should be determined by the number of guests you plan to invite. Be sure to ask about the maximum capacity and if the venue can accommodate your guest list comfortably. Alpha seats 250. Bravo seats 120. Charlie seats 175.
Style: Every couple has a unique style and vision for their wedding day. Consider the overall style and aesthetic of the venue, and whether it aligns with your vision. You'll also want to ensure that the venue has ample space for your desired ceremony and reception setup. Each one of our buildings is designed differently. Alpha is our Modern Farmstead, Bravo is our Rustic Barn and Charlie has an Industrial feel.
Amenities: Make sure the venue has the amenities you need for your big day, such as a bridal suite, grooms lounge and indoor restrooms. If you're planning an outdoor wedding, make sure the venue has a backup plan in case of inclement weather. Here at White Stone, couples who choose Bravo or Charlie get an automatic upgrade if it rains.
Vendor Policy: Ask about the venue's vendor policy. Some venues require couples to use their in-house catering and bar services, while others have a preferred vendor list. It's important to know the venue's policy and whether or not it aligns with your vision and budget. We have no food or beverage minimum! You are welcome to feed your guests in whatever fashion you would like (as long as they are licensed and insured).
Budget: Lastly, make sure the venue fits within your budget. Ask about pricing and what is included in the rental fee. Be sure to factor in any additional costs, such as decor, catering, and entertainment.
Choosing a wedding venue is a big decision, but by considering these key factors, you can find the perfect venue that meets your needs and fits your vision. At White Stone Events, we're here to help guide you through the process and create the wedding of your dreams.
